CHARLEY STRATTON is dead. His Death Occurred At The County  Farm Near Crawfordsville

Charley Stratton died at the County farm last Tuesday evening.  He had gone there about three weeks ago as he did not feel able  to work and he and his wife had separated. His illness was a  peculiar one as he had no fever and showed no symptoms of disease  but a post mortem examination showed that his death was caused by  a blood clot on the brain.

The deceased was 51 years old and was an honest and  industrious man and had many friends here. He leaves two grown  children who do not live here. These are children of Mr.  Stratton's first marriage, a son and a daughter.

The remains were brought to Ladoga Wednesday to the home of  Jack Barber. The funeral service was conducted yesterday  afternoon by Rev. W. T. Brooks and interment was made in Ladoga  Cemetery. We are informed that Mr. Strattan carried insurance  sufficient to pay his burial expenses.
